"Utile Dulci"
On Tuesdays, 10% of the company proceeds are donated to a local area charity. The corporation that owns the restaurant, Utile Dulci, Inc., took its name from the Town of Dartmouth's seal. "Utile Dulci" is Latin for "Service through kindness and peaceful means". Indeed this is the mission statement of the Black Bass Grille.
Recent Recipients of the Tuesday Program:
Recipients have been The Lloyd Center, The Mass Food Bank, Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, The March of Dimes, Dartmouth Friends of the Elderly, Dartmouth Park Project, South Coast Humane Society, Gold Star Moms, the Ocean Explorium in New Bedford, and Save the Ta-Tas for breast cancer awareness and Kennedy-Donovan Center
